Престижная премия в области дизайна и рекламы некоммерческой организации Британской ассоциации дизайнеров и арт-директоров (Лондон). Премия D&AD была основана в 1962 году и считается своеобразным ''Оскаром'' в индустрии творчества. Оргкомитет премии рассматривает множество работ в области дизайна и рекламы и на своей ежегодной торжественной церемонии вручает следующие премии:

D&AD Award — вручается ежегодно в 27 номинациях от наружной рекламы до текстов для дизайна;

D&AD Student Award — вручается за студенческие работы в 27 номинаций от дизайна 3D до веб-дизайна;

D&AD President’s Award — вручается ежегодно, как составная часть главной премии только одному претенденту, внёсшему наибольший творческий вклад в области дизайна и рекламы.

Для участия в конкурсе необходимо чтобы проект был коммерчески реализован в период с 1 января 2011 по 31 декабря 2011. Участие платное.

 

The 50th D&AD Awards are open for entry.

Over the last 50 years, D&AD has celebrated the outstanding design and advertising that has influenced future generations of creative talent. In our 50th year, we’re looking forward to nurture, support and champion the brilliant design and advertising of the future by aiming to make the 50th D&AD Awards and Annual the ultimate benchmark in commercial creativity, setting the standard for new generations of commercial creatives.
The D&AD Awards have been running since 1962 when the organisation was founded by luminaries including David Bailey, Terence Donovan, Alan Fletcher and Colin Forbes. From the 2,500 entries in that first year, the Jury of 25 awarded one Black Pencil and 16 Yellow Pencils to outstanding creative work from across the design and advertising industries in the UK.
While the UK still leads the way in submissions and awarded work, with almost 40% of entries, the 2011 D&AD Awards received work from 64 different countries. The Jury (now made up of over 140 judges) awarded 53 Yellow Pencils and six Black Pencils, with the body of work encompassing the range of digital, advertising and design craft disciplines.
